The company journey is for boards, owners and CEOs who want to take their mission very seriously. It is the journey that makes visible the strength - and exposes the weaknesses - in the company's governance, structure and culture. This is not about fine words in a protocol, but about actual board-level leadership – about exercising responsibility, following up and leading with real presence.

This training is designed to challenge and develop what is often overlooked: the interaction between the board and management. In many companies, the distance between strategic decisions and operational reality is too great. The company journey therefore builds bridges – upwards towards owners and downwards towards the management team – so that governance is not only formal, but functioning in practice.

The company journey begins with one thorough gap analysis, where we map the current situation, strengths and areas of development in both the board's work and the company's everyday life. We ask the questions necessary to see the whole - not to arrange, but to develop:
Are the right skills in the right place? Is the board doing its job according to its mandate? Is communication with management alive, concrete and continuous?

This is where the real movement begins. Based on the analysis, we create a clear picture of needs and then an action plan that makes management measurable, accountability clear and communication effective.

From decisions to behavior - where board work comes to life

The company journey is about to operationalize the board's responsibility. We implement tools, matrices and models that make it possible to see, follow up and control in a structured and modern way.

This can involve introducing measurement structures for strategic goals, creating clear KPI flows between the board and management, or establishing routines that mean that every decision in the boardroom has a concrete impact on the business. In this way, the board's work becomes alive - not reactive, but proactive and results-oriented.

We go in depth the board's division of responsibilities, communication and decision-making processes. Each participant gets to reflect on their own contribution to the board's work, while the group develops as a collective decision-making body.

The company journey lasts for a year and is led through workshops, coaching sessions and strategic reconciliations.
We follow up every meeting with The result journey - where goals, behaviors and effects are documented and become visible.

After the end of the program, follow-ups are made with both the owner and CEO to ensure that action plans and decisions are implemented and live on. Transparency is key – for a board that doesn't follow up, doesn't govern.

Follow-up and results – our hallmark

This is where Bolagsresan differs from many other development programs: we don't stop at the meetings themselves.

Each meeting ends with a results session which is documented in The result journey - the folder where goals, behaviors and progress become visible and measurable.
After the program, we follow up with two online meetings of 1 hour via Teams (after approx. 1 month and 3 months) to ensure that decisions and action plans live on and have a long-term effect.
Transparency: We make a reconciliation with the owner, CEO or chairman of the board before the first follow-up. It provides an external view of progress and ensures that development is anchored throughout the organization.
